Calling all NC Troublemakers! It’s time to show up in large numbers at the NC General Assembly to talk face-to-face with our legislators. They need to hear directly from us that we won’t stand for book banning, discrimination against the LGBTQ+ community, and attempts to erase Black and other marginalized communities in our state, nor take away our voting rights. No matter where you live, get your squad together and join us in Raleigh for our Lobby Day. We’ll have a banned book Read-In outside the Legislative building and attend scheduled meetings with our legislators. If this will be your first Lobby Day, no worries! We’ll have a virtual training session prior to Lobby Day and will pair newbies with seasoned lobby goers. RWB members have always got each other!
