Institute of Political Leadership & Spectrum News Bringing to Johnston County Hometown Forum

The non-partisan Institute of Political Leadership will host hometown forums around North Carolina. Johnston Community College Auditorium will be the site of the first forum on healthcare regulation on Tuesday, October 7th. This event will focus on “The Regulatory Environment in North Carolina,” and we’ll discuss Certificate of Need, Scope of Practice, Surprise Billing, Hospital Mergers, Private Equity, Mental Health Reform, and the role of private equity in healthcare.

The forum will run from 6:00–7:00 p.m. with a live audience and will be broadcast statewide on Spectrum News. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
